The Opportunity: Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re partnering with a reputable and growing company in the Central Valley that’s seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records.

You’ll be a key contributor to the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions
• Assist with month-end closing and accruals
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate or high-volume setting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in
• Accounting or related field preferred
