The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a respected company in the construction industry that’s looking to bring on an Accounting Specialist. This is a fantastic entry point for someone who’s ready to get their foot into accounting and wants to grow into a Junior Accountant role within a year. What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
- Supporting month-end close activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Helping with reporting and data entry tasks
- Collaborating with the accounting team on special projects
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and formulas a plus)
- Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced responsibilities
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset
