Position Summary: As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records. Your role will include recording transactions, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. You will play a crucial part in supporting the overall financial operations of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions, including expenses and sales.
- Process payments to vendors and handle billing for customers.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage payroll, including paychecks and direct deposits.
- Generate financial reports to provide insights into the company’s financial status.
- Identify and correct errors in financial records.
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail to identify and correct errors.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain financial information.
- A High School Diploma.
