The Opportunity: Accounting Specialist

We’re excited to partner with a respected and growing organization in the Fresno area that’s seeking an Accounting Specialist to support its day-to-day financial operations. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth accounting processes and supporting the finance team with timely and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
• Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized business setting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
