Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Fresno, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  • Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to accounting, such as filing and document management.
  • Assist with audits and other financial reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
