Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Fresno, CA

Reports To: Accounting Manager

Pay: $22-$26/ Hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support the finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with account reconciliations.
• Prepare and distribute invoices and payment receipts.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
