Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role involves working closely with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
Perform reconciliations of bank statements and other accounts.
Support audits and tax filings.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the food packaging, Agriculture, or manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA certification is a plus.

Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (Salary may vary based on skills and experience.)
