Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
