Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Management: Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Payment Processing: Record and process incoming payments, including checks, credit card transactions, and electronic transfers.
Collections: Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, contacting customers to ensure timely payment.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Reporting: Prepare and distribute accounts receivable reports to management, including aging reports and summaries of outstanding balances.
Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer inquiries and disputes related to invoices and payments.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding accounts receivable processes.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts receivable operations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role in Agriculture industry.
Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
