Stardom Employment Consultants is a Central California–based staffing firm specializing in accounting & finance, operations, and professional roles. We help employers find exceptional talent and help candidates build meaningful careers through a high-touch, community-centered approach.

As a Recruiter II, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting across assigned disciplines and clients. You’ll conduct community-based interviewing at partner sites and local venues (e.g., colleges, workforce centers, employer premises, and community events) as well as in-house interviewing at our Fresno office. You’ll manage requisitions end-to-end, drive candidate pipelines, and deliver a stellar experience to clients and talent while meeting clear KPIs tied to placements, cycle time, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Intake new requisitions; clarify role requirements, success profile, compensation bands, and hiring timeline with clients and the Branch Manager.
- Source candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, community partners, and Stardom’s ATS/CRM/High Tech Tools.
- Screen, interview, assess, and present qualified shortlists; coordinate client interviews and hiring manager debriefs.
- Negotiate offers; manage pre-employment, onboarding, and start-date logistics.
- Plan and conduct interviewing schedules based on geography
- Host in-house interview blocks at Stardom’s Fresno office; maintain professional, welcoming candidate experience.
- Client & Candidate Experience
- Serve as a consultative point of contact for hiring managers on market insights, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
- Deliver timely updates, pipeline reports, and feedback loops to clients and candidates.
Data, Process & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records in ATS/CRM (requisitions, activities, notes, statuses, placements).
- Adhere to EEO, ADA, and all relevant federal/state employment laws and client-specific requirements.
- Support continuous improvement (SOPs, templates, message libraries, interview guides) to reduce time-to-fill and enhance quality-of-hire.
- Contribute to marketing content (job ads, social posts) and represent Stardom at business/community functions.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of agency or in-house recruiting experience, ideally in accounting/finance, managerial operations, or administrative professional roles.
- Strong interviewing skills; comfortable conducting on-site/community interviews and in-house sessions.
- Proficiency with ATS/CRM systems, job boards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel locally for community interviews/events (see Travel section).
Preferred
- Experience recruiting in Central California markets.
- Knowledge of California employment practices (wage/hour, pay transparency, EEO).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field—or equivalent experience.
