The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll functions for over 300 employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll, and maintaining employee records. Location: Selma area| Compensation: $20-$24| Benefits: Dental, Health, Vision, PTO and more…| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm|

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for over 300 employees on a bi-weekly basis
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to employees
  • Collaborate with the HR team to maintain accurate employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee data
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and laws
  • Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll-related issues
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll information
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and related matters
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with employees, management, and external stakeholders
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll administration
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and laws
  • Experience with payroll software, such as ADP, Paychex, or similar systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
