We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Rep. The ideal candidate must be a strong leader. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all plant quality seems as they relate to achieving corporate Food Safety and Quality. Location: Madera area|Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm| Benefits: Exceptional Benefits Package|Compensation: $80K-$110K|

Responsibilities: 

• Initiate work goals to motivate the quality staff and document improvement
• Lead any 3rd party audits
• Ensure all check sheets are correctly completed and all non-compliance found have had the correct action taken and signed off
• Perform quality control analysis including tests and inspections of products and processes
• Arrange, coordinate and participate in external quality audits
• Assist in setting quality standards and ensure that production is maintained at such standards
• Ensure proper staffing is maintained
• Complete accidents investigation and report within 24 hours of the incident
• Implement and monitor training for new hires and retraining of current employees
• Lead Food Safety Team

Skills and Experience:

• SOP’s-program development, training, implementation, maintenance, corrective actions, record keeping, and verification in support of plant operations and quality systems
• HACCP/Food Safety Program
• Microsoft Suite
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry

Education: 

• Bachelors Degree
