Position Summary
The Controller will oversee all accounting operations and play a key role in corporate finance strategy. This position reports directly to executive leadership and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors
- Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes
Corporate Finance
- Develop and monitor financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Support capital planning, cost analysis, and investment decisions
- Partner with operations to optimize margins and cost structures
- Prepare executive-level reporting packages and board presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- CPA designation highly desired
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel
